MapMechanics was registered as Kingswood Ltd over twenty years ago and has continued to work within the logistics and haulage planning sector, as well as gaining extensive knowledge of digital mapping and geographic analysis. Our offerings include solutions for routing and scheduling, drive time and speed analysis and territory optimisation. We specialise in solving any problem and optimising any process with a geographical element.

What we do
MapMechanics have worked with companies including Unichem, HIPPOBAG, Spicers and Solaglas to optimise their vehicle routing and scheduling and others such as Collect Services, Sud Ouest and ISS (Integrated Services Solutions) to direct and manage their workforce.
We help our customers to collect and deliver milk and fresh produce, deliver bottled water, plan and coordinate doorstop visits and deliveries, allocate leads and make sure that the right people are in the right place at the right time, including getting prisoners to courts.
We can also provide strategic analysis, through either software packages or consultancy, optimise the placement of depots for access to transport and customers, investigate the demographics of an area for the suitability of a new franchise or examine your market penetration in an area to see if a new site is viable.
To complement our other activities we supply digital map data from the worlds leading suppliers such as NAVTEQ, OS and the Royal Mail. We also supply the demographic data needed to make decisions along with rasters and aerial and satellite photography for displaying your data.
